To say that we have been crazy busy around this place is an understatement but we are doing our best to enjoy every minute of the total chaos! We are certainly staying busy - the boys and I go on adventures almost every day while daddy is at work - which usually consist of a trip to Target or Hobby Lobby or other similar errands At this point - the hardest part is figuring out what to do with the things I want to buy when I am shopping alone! :) I usually take the boys in their stroller (easiest way to get them around the store) but then I have no hands left to push a cart - I'm always afraid if I start putting items in the basket under the stroller that people are going to think I am trying to steal it....I typically end up trying to balance things on random parts of the stroller - to say I look ridiculous is probably an understatement - but mommy does what she has got to do because I would go INSANE if I didn't get out of the house!!
The boys are sleeping pretty well too - crossing my fingers every night for that elusive "first time they sleep through the night" panic attack that everyone has told me about! Last night was great - only had to get up once - the boys when 5 1/2 hours and then followed that up with another 5 hour run - it was fabulous! They are going down really easy which is nice - and I am sure that it wont be long until these middle of the night feeds are a distant memory!! :)
The boys celebrated their first Easter this weekend. We went down to Clearwater and enjoyed the long weekend with Grandma, Papa Jon and Great Grandma. It was nice to get to see the fam again and they obviously enjoyed spoiling the boys rotten. While we were in town we got to introduce the boys to the whole extended family which was exhausting but awesome all wrapped into one - it was so much fun to see everyone and show off our new handsome men! They both got lots of hugs and kisses from adoring aunts, uncles grandparents and cousins for sure!!
We are back home now - settling back into our "routine" if you can call any day with twin 7 week olds a routine....Stephen is home on spring break this week so we are trying to get a few projects done around the house - in between feeding, burping, changing diapers, bathing, changing diapers, feeding and play time. We are enjoying the more frequent awake time for sure and we are getting more and more smiles from both boys - as soon as we are able to actually catch one of these smiles on camera I promise to post it :)
Thanks for all of the prayers - I'll try to get some new pictures up - we have some great ones from Easter!!
